SOBRE MAGDALENA
Nació en Puerto Lumbreras, Murcia, España. A la edad de ocho años perdió de forma repentina a su padre, y se refugió en la única cosa que le permitía dar respuesta a las miles de preguntas que sobre la vida se hacía constantemente: escribir poesía. Encontró en la escritura un infinito de caminos y veredas a las que asirse y dar forma a sus inquietudes. Queriendo explorar aún más en sus emociones y sentimientos ingresó a mediados de los noventa en la Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Murcia, y desde entonces jamás dejó de hacer teatro. Ese horizonte se amplió con el cine, participando como actriz en varios cortometrajes, y en el 2015 en su primer largometraje como protagonista, “Las Aventuras de Moriana”. También en 2015 comenzó a lanzar una serie de video-poemas recitados por ella, que han tenido como resultado su viralización en redes sociales a lo largo y ancho del mundo hispanohablante.
“Instrucciones a mis hijos” es el cuarto poemario que publica tras "Cosas de niña”, “Yo contra mí” y “Nana para dormir a mis abuelos”. Un libreto lleno de pensamientos y reflexiones, que nacen de la intención de dejar un legado moral y emocional a sus tres hijos, una herencia vital, aunque quizá por lo cercano y familiar se ha convertido en universal. Esta recopilación de poemas es una defensa a ultranza de la resiliencia, de la capacidad de lucha y de persecución de los objetivos que cada uno se marque en la vida. Aunque más que objetivos, son sueños.
She was born in Puerto Lumbreras, Murcia, Spain. At the age of eight, Magdalena suddenly lost her father, and took refuge in the only thing that allowed her to respond to the thousands of questions she had about life: writing poetry. In writing poems she found an infinite number of paths to grasp and shape her worries. To further explore her emotions and feelings, she entered the School of Dramatic Arts of Murcia in the mid-nineties, and since then he has never stopped doing theater. That horizon was broadened with cinema, participating as an actress in several short films, and in 2015 in her first full-length feature film, "Las Aventuras de Moriana". Also in 2015 she began to launch a series of video-poems recited by her that have been vitalized in social networks throughout the Spanish-speaking world.
"Instrucciones a mis hijos" ("Instructions to my children") is the fourth collection of poems that she publishes after "Cosas de niña" ,"Yo contra mí" and "Nana para dormir a mis abuelos". "Instrucciones a mis hijos" is a book full of thoughts and reflections, born of the intention of leaving a moral and emotional legacy to her three children, a vital heritage that has become universal.
